The Alumni Referral Scholarship was established to offer alumni the opportunity to do two good deeds at once: help a deserving student achieve their higher education goals and assist in recruiting an exciting incoming class! The Alumni Referral Scholarship is a one-semester, non-renewable $100 tuition waiver scholarship.

Who can nominate a prospective student?
Any Rogers State University (includes RU, RSC, CJC, and OMA) alumnus may nominate a prospective freshman or transfer student by completing the alumni referral application on behalf of the desired prospective freshmen or transfer student.

What are the deadlines?
Referral applications must be submitted by August 1 for the Fall semester and December 15 for the Spring semester. Referrals received after the due date, but before the first day of classes, may be considered for the scholarship if funds are available.

How do I nominate a prospective student?
Alumni must complete the Alumni Referral Scholarship Application. All nominations that meet the above criteria will be reviewed and contacted.
